Tommy is a founder-trained and professionally certified facilitator for the Paterson Strategic Operating Plan™ and the internationally renowned LifePlan™ process. Tommy has assisted over 125 individuals and organizations in pursuit of breakthrough for the best envisioned future possible, and to discover the truth about their situation, maximize their efforts, design an operational systems view and determine the best employee fit.

Tommy’s ability to get perspective on the core drivers and structure of a business, and prioritize ‘what’s next’ in the context of change and transition, makes him both a high-impact facilitator and trusted advisor.

Achieving Strategic & Operational Excellence

Graduating from the University of South Carolina with a degree in Mechanical Engineering he received his MBA at Clemson/Furman. Tommy began his career as a New Product Development Engineer with Data General. Later joining Digital Equipment Corp. as a Senior New Product Engineer, he soon realized his passion was entrepreneurial and started Tiger Transport Supply Chain service, twice recognized as South Carolina’s fastest growing business.

Most recently Tommy lead a strategic international expansion of the leadership training non-profit ‘Lead Like Jesus’, co-founded by Ken Blanchard, author of more than 50 books including The One Minute Manager, and President of the Ken Blanchard Industries global leadership company. Entering as a strategic consultant Tommy became the COO/trusted advisor restructuring all financial, administrative and operating activities in addition to identifying new markets and product development opportunities.

Tommy believes that life well lived is life lived to the fullest. Whether it’s hiking each of the highest peaks on the east coast, or pulling up molded carpet in the home of one in real need, Tommy seeks to continually find ways to live life as an adventure. His leadership point of view is serving others while continuously finding ways to grow personally.

Tommy and his wife Beth have three daughters and live in Simpsonville, South Carolina, where he has served his church along with numerous local and regional non-profits.
